Notes About The Poem

Love On a Leash

                        LOVE ON A LEASH
                             8/9/2023

                   Doggie, doggie, ebony-eyed,

Brand new hair-cut, my, oh my!

Happiness, you bring to our days,

                   Proud to walk you, everyday!

We tried to use my daughters dog Biscuit for the image. But can no longer turn the images at the soup. I don’t get it, Biscuit is far cuter and huggable. I hope we can post him one day. I will remember to let you know! Pangie

This is such a cute write, Pangie! I love little dogs, but like you I have cats: 4 cats with 3 of them calicoes and one Tuxedo male. My husband says "No" dog. Bummer! Blessings, Kim M

Thank you, thank you Kim. I am so sorry we could not post my daughters picture of her dog, Biscuit. But the site-is odd today Grrrr My Calico just jumped on my cat. I am envious of you having three of them plus a tuxedo. I have had 24 cats in my life. My first cat was a calico and lived to be 25 years old. I like Corgis. But after my broken leg, dog walking is out. Sunshine be on your shoulders. Pangie
