Love of Thee and Me

To seek the wisdom and confront
All the cruelties that abound
But not to challenge tit for tat
Or a vicious echo will resound
And hamper what the Gods have taught
Love yourself in a Zen mode
For milk and honey is the cure
Reducing anger to a spore
