Love of My Life

As a three year old girl ;
I did not want my mother reading.
It took her mind far away from where I was.

I am not three now...
Seems someone else is....

Do you want my mind ?

So you have a three-year-old, Gail? Anything that takes attention away from a child is never welcome. But moms need some time to themselves. And perhaps you will soon be able to read some "grown up" classics like Charles Dickins to your child. It never hurts to help a young person develop an interest in the written word. My sister read Poe and sometimes even Shakespeare to me when I was little. Those are precious memories. Very sweet poem on the challenges of motherhood! Love, Carolyn
