Love of God Abounds
Elsewhere in the world ‘noise’ surrounds us
its power to conquer us shapes our lives
either good or bad depends on moral response
to certain issues that face humanity.
Shoppers and commuters brace for traffic congestions
husbands and wives cope with the bustle of everyday;
what a difficult situation, what a busy world!
no time for sharing, no space for interaction.
Family suffers through negligence,
with a missing link that connects
one’s relationship to life-giving actions.
Virgil says, ‘love will conquer all’
its powerful meaning can truly change;
as one walks with another person
like a family there’s more possibility.
There are mood swings, insecurity, and fear
in every action there’s a message to say,
along with the challenge that covers,
keeps us focused and float with strength and faith.
Reinforcement of Christian values
provides the power of God’s love;
as a pathway that leads to getting fulfilled
the choice that we make for our family members.
