Love nothing more asks for

Love-filled long inning love asks for, Not just good beginning asks for. Eyes know to dive in deep to probe, Love, no more than feeling asks for. They all desire joys of their own, Who alien suffering asks for? Just a moment-long communion, What else a loving heart asks for? It desires but a glimpse of love, What else? Heart not a thing asks for. _______________________________ Ghazal |17.08.2023| love Poet’s note: Based on a Gujarati ghazal by Kireet Gosvami:
