Love Note

Darling,

It felt mundane,
Our dressing up,
Then driving off
As evening glowed
Its salmon hues

Yet, once the maître d’ had edged
Your chair into our table’s skirt,

I felt as thrilled
To clutch your hand
And find that grin
Upon your face
As forty years ago.

Much Love,

Very charming and romantic, David, and wonderful to see those who are committed to marriage! (My folks just celebrated 68 years!) Blessings and congrats on your win! :-)
