Love Me Like I Am

Love me like I am
Don’t try to change me for your benefit
If Jesus can love me as I am
Then, so can you
Don’t try to change me 
So that your children will approve of me
Love me like I am

Don’t compare me to your Ex-husband
Males don’t like that!
Love me like I am and 
Together we can conform to our future!
Don’t tell lies to enhance our relationship
Love me like I am!
Together we can conform to our future!

Love me like I am
Don’t try to change me for your benefit
And don’t use your past as a weapon!
If Jesus can love me as I am
Then, so can you and
In return, the same must be expected of me!

Love me like I am!
