Love Many But Trust a Chosen Few

For people, like lake waves, can change their hue, Chameleons, shifting colors and guise, Like snakes, shedding truth for deceitful lies. A handle on an axe, loose and askew, They'll turn on you, causing pain undue. They praise with ladders, then swiftly take away, Reveling in your troubles, as if in play. Clouds that fail to forewarn the rain, They surprise us with problems, causing strain. In times of need, they'll run to your side, But stand for elections, and they'll hide. At funerals, they feign sympathy and care, Yet, secretly delight in your despair. They'd rather see you beneath, not above, Envious hearts brimming with ill-wished love. But remember, there's one truest friend, Whose love and care will never end. God stands beside you through thick and thin, Wiping each tear, healing from within. In this world of shifting tides and lies, God's love remains constant, a priceless prize TURYAGUMANAWE MATHIAS
