Love
Some give it
Some take it
Some don’t understand it
Yet, everyone needs it.
Love
It works magic on the mind, body
and soul,
It can also leave you feeling hot,
warm or cold,
It can be addictive after a short while, making you feel as if you’re bewitched,
Desperately, you wish there was an
on-off switch.
Love
The heart needs it, so enjoy, indulge
and share it,
There’s no age limit, so don’t be
afraid, be brave,
Don’t be shy, be bold, whether young
or old,
So go on, take a chance, for love is
the essence of life that makes us
feel connected and whole.
