Love Lost

I hold on to the last string that hold us tight, With every strength in my hand I hold it tight, Wishing that tonight won't be the night, But fate had over plans as the string tear, I hold but you fell in the abyss I swear, Every muscle in my heart give, I too fell into the abyss with you, All my fears scream your name, But darkness grab me to live, Holding me tight I tear for you every night, I felt the shame I felt the blame for letting you walk away. I swear I hold the string so tight, But fate knew what was right. D.P. // A Love Lost written: 7/19/2015
