Love Lost

She once had a love of great beauty and worth. He was the son to whom she gave birth. His soul shone through stars above, heart sweet as a dove. His name was Love, her only cause, blessed by Him above. Love no longer spoken of, his death laid her poor shattered heart dearth. She once had a love of great beauty and worth.
