Love, Living Under Fear

In the beginning
There was
No such thing
It was not there
Or maybe
They did not care
They would just look
Into each-other’s eyes
And the rest
Were all lies
But now
They can feel
Its presence
Even amidst
Women and men
It never
Leaves them alone
It’s never gone
No matter
How much they pray
It preys
On their happiness
Making lives
A mess
It’s hither, it’s thither
And the love
Before blooming, withers
As it stalks
Eyes them
Like a hawk
No PDA
Not even moments, privy
On the contrary
It sends
Shivers down the spine
Scared
Even to say
‘You are mine’.
Love
Living under
The constant shadow of
Fear
Not a very enjoyable prospect
Won’t you agree dear?

Wow.. captivating! True love however cast off all fear. Because fear is a liar and love is the light of truth exposing fear for what it really is!
