Love Letter To An Angel
LOVE LETTER TO AN ANGEL
It may be a letter, a poem, a book entitled, "his love life"
She is the angel in his Sunday school book with wings of valor
White touch of halo on the edge of time, she's so divine...
The streets are paved in gold whenever she glides through them
Her hair flips in multi shades gold, in my wantin' dreams of her
Her closet is full of goods and I only wish I could be understood...
If I could reach her with a letter, I'd send it to her, P O Box" heaven"
I'd give it to a post man or the famous astronaut from NASA's leaven
She is against all odds, with beauty of wits and no flaws
She is an age old symbol of a beauty that never dies
When water runs down her skin, she glitters like morning dew
with twists and slides she rides down my mind's sweet avenue
Nothing can define her, my sweet angel
Luminous and ethereal, she's an angel of God !
Let the meteors have their run across the atmosphere to draw her near
Let the show of shooting stars crown her chest with jewel like chandeliers
I for one will wonder til' the sun abasses in the east what precious fiat
she achieves, and in my dreams I'll wish I was there with her...
Maybe on Christmas day the Santa that she knows will deliver my message
Addressed to P.O.B. my heart, then she'll know, how much I admire her.
