LOVE IS YOU
Love is the way my heart misses a beat
Whenever it senses that you are near.
It is the feeling of void it creates,
During the long hours when you are not here.
Love is the warmth as we lie in our bed,
And the heat of the passion it leads to,
Love is those moments when nothing is said.
Special moments when nobody needs to.
The pride I feel as we walk down the street.
The curl of your hair, the tilt of your nose.
I look at you and my life feels complete.
But soon, as the new life inside you grows,
We shall be three and I shall love her too
But for now, my dear, love is simply you
