Love Is the Only Way

We need black lives to matter to Black folks again.
I remember when you called me sister, 
I called you brother,
Brother man, and Sister girl- and you, 
Even called me your queen.
Oh, I need to hear that sweet refrain again.
We need Black lives to “more than matter”;
‘’We need to love each other again “.
“We need to know that our survival depends on it”
“We need to know that unity is the only way”,
That there is no power unless fueled by love of self”.
“Unity and Love is the only way.!
