Love Is the Key
To feel the heart within the pen,
Through the substance and direction it sends,
A glimpse of where the heart resides,
Only for a moment in time,
Perspectives thrown out as words hit the page,
To see for yourself the process of change,
Feelings come and feelings go,
As fleeting as the wind that blows,
And yet they were meant to cross your path,
To teach you lessons you must grasp,
Some say that person will never change,
And yet change is a part of our lives everyday,
So really, who are we to say?,
The heart of that person could never change,
The hope we have is in the love we bring,
The openness to see everything,
The key that can unlock the door,
That opens the heart to be able to see more,
