Love Is Lost In the Eye of the Storm

splash

the foot is in the puddle
the girl is leaving
i am standing there...in the storm

swoosh
the wind hits my face
i take one more look at the love that is leaving me
her tears are now in conglomeration with the rain
I am speechless

the time is the dark
noon is dark
heart is dark

have you ever felt the life slipping out of your body
the heat in your breast, constantly imploding?

she has killed me
they have all killed me for the last time

I'll look for eden alone...
it must be this way

Kalonji, I did indeed feel the "life slipping out of my body" last month as I held my father's hand while he died. I hope we will both find joy in the future. Carolyn
