Love Is Like a Stab

The only stabs I've ever endured
Have been stabs from the heart.
One day you're best friends
The next it falls apart.

You trust, you give, you help, you love
It's who you were born to be.
But getting stabbed in the heart
Is preventing me from being free.

I'll recover, I'll survive, I'm a warrior
Just like Demi Lovato, I look up to her.
One day at a time, one moon at a time
I'll be the one with my own healing power.
