Love Is Blond

With the glance of his eyes, with the touch of his hand Space and light shift and once again I’m lost. For his shadow I cry and my heart’s in pieces like the sand I hear his voice like a gift for his whispers in my ear are soft. My love is blond, it can hardly be real For past is the day when I didn’t know what to feel. I kiss the curve of his lips and I touch the lines of his face Heat and fire descend and once again I’m gone. His company I take in sips but in gulps I want to taste Pain and pleasure blend as his absence is much too long. My love is blond, I’m aware of how I feel Uncertainty is in the past and I know this time it must be real. His sweetness fills my empty heart and on air and light I glide Sun and warmth never seem to end and the daylight is what I find. He pushes away the dark as his smile fills me inside My life is about to begin as his being becomes a part of mine. My love is blond, it’s what I know to be true Strange as it may seem, I’ve fallen in love with you.
