Love Is Blind
you crept behind a tear
where passion slept
longing in a dream
awake
blind to desires
hidden in view, yet
you looked through as if
they were nonexistent
like the melody of a song
when the lyrics are
all that will soothe
a broken soul or
those we wish were
never played again
you danced on my heart
to our song with
someone who wasn't
too blind to see
your wishes to say
goodbye
