Love Is Blind
One truth, one soul, one love;
bonds that link hearts together!
Love extends beyond hope,
to a place of fantasies and dreams:
where happiness thrives.
Rooted in the heart and tethered to the soul,
emotions test the elasticity of love.
Fueling forever feelings
forged on the anvil of trust,
lovers live for the moment:
for it's not a sin to be happy!
As time ticks away, it can be frightening
for soulmates going old together.
Yet, stretching over yesterday's mistakes
and tomorrow's misgivings,
Love is a mix of surreal emotions:
that allows tears and smiles to coexist.
Love is intimate: for love is blind,
and must feel its way into your heart.
To have never felt loved is tragic;
while to have felt love's touch and rejected it,
falls beyond mere words: to describe.
