Love Is a Miracle

Somewhere
A child sits hungry and dying

Everywhere
People are wasting food

Sometimes
People are generous

Most times
They are not

Here-say
is just that

They say
That time heals

Sanity
Doesn’t always reign

Vanity
Rules the world

Innocence
isn’t stupidity

Guilt
Lords over good sense

Hate
Is a dirty word

Love
is a miracle
