Love Is

Love is the halo of my heart 
the curved bow of my steely dart
the signature of my hand write 
the diamond shine of my sunlight 

Love is my truest companion 
my hungering feast or famine 
my distressor, my dopamine 
my soul's benefactor & sheen

Love is both turbulence and calm
a hand offering, a peaceful alm 
a juxtaposition-sibling 
and a song thats ready to be sung 

Love is a bouquet of flowers, 
with the scent of April showers.
