Love In War and Peace
Nothing can ill afford to call this tryst -
A war, since I am sworn to love, I swear
The worth of our’ allegiance has enticed,
The bravest man, a women can compare.
In silence whilst the thought I still avow,
The past of an adornment would it sate
Unknown is love to others, but for now -
For one and all, to separate whose wait?
And war for what an age is, death I fear,
Cannot allow the last remaining thing.
To roam within the shape of love sincere;
It means I do believe our hopes will bring.
The strength of love is assured as always,
To conquer love at war our peace conveys.
