Love stands alone in a crowd of hate, Hate all painted in red, Hate sitting to perfect attention, Believing whatever was said, Believing the lies of hurt and spite, Spreading the ache for a thrill, But love stands defiant to this, Love happily restarts the rebuild, Creating a new from the torn up of old, Washing off hurt with soap, Creating healthy honest happy free, Love builds a new sense of hope, Love stands alone in the crowd, Against hate, love’s always withstood, The pain and lies hate had to throw, Love has cleaned all with the good.

Nicely penned words in defense of Love, ringing out so true, Lewis. One would think by seeing all the damage and destruction brought upon us humans by hate and its derivative traits, we humans would then rebuke hate and choose to cultivate Love, instead. :) ~ Artsie
