Love, I Wait For Thee

Starved soul
Burning throat
Hard lump
Stray tears
Nostalgic heart
Burning quietly
So alone
But why

So tragic
So passionate
So shy
So imperfect
So tender
No likes
No swipes
No dates
No wives
No family
Just quiet
Empty room
Silent contemplation
No pity
One day
Just maybe
Perhaps tomorrow
Next week
Next year
I believe
It hurts
Hold on
To belief
It's all
I have

Belief, faith and love, all God given things, and you are right; belief is all we have, as this is the basis of all of them.
