Notes About The Poem

Feelings come and then they go like the summer warmth, before the snow.

keep the warmth in your heart always

Love Hurts

For love is blind yet we both still see
when I love you and you love me?
And yet we hurt each other so.
In dawn's cold light we both should know.
For you have always been that girl for me,
And on many things, we both agree.
I want to make things always right,
And love to kiss when we say goodnight.
Forgive the fool that I surely am,
And help me be that better man.
As my mind goes back and I seem to stare,
At that angelic face and that auburn hair.
Where love still blossoms in this love affair.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
