Love Hurts

You tell me goodbye,
At the time I need you the most.
You walk out of the door,
The door of my life.

Bawling my eyes out,
For you to come back to me.
Laying there thinking,
If I should've done things differently.

Our flame has died,
The wax on the candle has been burnt,
No one can make it light again,
Except for you.

My heart falls to the floor,
In pieces.
Only you,
Can return my heart to its normal shape.

When you left,
I lost a part of me,
You were the person that,
I could turn to.

Now that your gone,
My heart is empty,
And is laying on the floor,
Waiting for you to pick it up.

Becky, I truly adore the emotional outpouring through your fine words of art. Its important for you to know that you have many friends to lean on and hopefully pull those smiles out of you to brighten everyones world. Sad but wonderful poem... MPK
