Love Hiding

The mist forms just before me
Your vision becomes a blur
I strain my eyes to see you
My sight becomes a whirl

I reach my arms to touch you
It’s like you just don’t see
Your ghost sits still in wonder
Clouds make it hard for me.

My world; it is here waiting
For a love to set me free
For bonds that tie with nature
For my soul and sanity.

I wish that I could find here
The peace that I desire
That everlasting friendship
That love that likes to hide
