Love For You

I'll always have love for you even if I can't show it I'll always have love for you, even if you won't know it I thought we'd work, but it just wasn't meant to be It's from a distance, but I'm sending this love to you from me Vodka to erase the thought of you, but it makes me think more Confused as to what I should do, So I take a drink more Now I'm tempted to dial your phone Wish I had a friend here, because I make my worst decisions while I'm alone I really wanted you to be the one I was with longest Why do we always want to make it right with the one we got it wrong with? I pushed you away, I wish I could go back and pull you closer Before it even started, it was over Depression prevented me from getting close to another person But now I'm in a better place, wanting to give you my best version I've never felt this strong about a girl, And you know it I'll always have love for you, but now I can't show it You ignored the messages I sent you before Christmas and Blocked me Sometimes the right people come into your life at the wrong time Even though you're gone now Chantal, you're still on my mind It's like we knocked on loves door with the wrong key We both visited when the other person wasn't in Got locked out by each other, so the journey could never begin Maybe one day we'll come in contact again and get to try again Maybe we've got to meet again at a later date so we can try to fly again I'll always have love for you even if I can't show it I'll always have love for you, even if you won't know it I thought we'd work, but it just wasn't meant to be It's from a distance, but I'm sending this love to you from me
