When little I knew the love of my parents,
And of my big sister;
Of my grandma and grandpa full of giving,
I lost my sister early.
A piece of me is gone,
I love her as though she was still part of life;
I loved my husband so much,
He waits down a winding road.
My two babies are entwined in my heart forever,
Although they never saw the sky;
Love is in the winding vine of life,
Love . . .
There is the love of friends that are so special,
The unconditional love of pets.
My father left me suddenly and I was shattered,
Oh I weep for mother;
She is an angel up above that watches over me,
Grandpa, oh deep that love.
Grandma taught me to write,
And I love my writing skill that the Lord above gave;
And I love to dance and twirl,
Love is a tangled forest stream.
Love is forgiveness and love is accepting the negative,
Seeing beyond the words;
Love that exists for all time,
Love . . .
Can be found in fragments of sweet loving moments,
Love dwells within this heart.
