Love Don't Live Here

Cold winds blow through.
Empty rooms feel still.
Dust hides the floor.
Shadows haunt the sill.

Gone is the light.
Quiet fills the hall.
Hearts turned to stone.
Echoes hit the wall.

Lonely hearts can tell
Love doesn't live here
Eden turned hell
A saddening loneliness

This is sad! Yet it seems that it wasn't always so. J
