Love Does Not Die

Life - a mere whisper in eternity
    Bitter taste tonight of melancholy
        Dew on rose petals leaving me thirsty
            For nostalgic notes of music folly
                And tender dreams under Christmas holly

When feelings run as deep - love does not die
    ‘Tis no more than a momentary goodbye
        As love for you flutters in afterlife
            On beautiful wings of a butterfly
                In the mystical garden of your life
