Love Crime

Love,
once was
beautiful.
Until you came,
brought me tears and pain
and darkened my heart’s light,
altered my soul’s purity,
and turned the love to lust and sane.
I thought you would stay with me.
But I was wrong, you left.
All that was behind
nothing more than
what I’d call
Mental
Crime.
