Love Cleans the Mess

Whispering heart, remember the time,
When love made sense, and you were mine,
The feelings of folly stepped inbetween,
And tried to undo everything,
But yet we held on when the wind beat against our house,
We rummaged through the heartache and fear and talked everything out,
It bonded us in ways no one could understand,
Through that mess and turmoil, we still stood hand in hand,
It overpowered the darkness, love held on with every breath,
Though tests and trials came, The love cleaned up that mess.
