Such a lovely haibun. "To read me is to truly know me". This is so real and true. My mother is gone now, but has left behind a number of writings that are simply priceless to me. Her voice, her humor, her wisdom is preserved in every word. I hope you fulfill your dream of publishing, dear one. Don't let go of that dream. Hugs ~ John

Thanks Tom I never wrote poetry until hubby was actually undergoing surgery in the Wirral and I felt so scared, so vulnerable and (because my father forbade me to tell mum) so alone, but that is all past and I am still enjoying my poetry journey:-) hugs Jan xx
