Just breathe with me, its okay
our affection can live beyond pain and distance,
just breathe with me when you need a good kiss,
just breathe with me when there is struggle to be stoked,
just bleed with me when nothing else matters,
just smile with me when star light touches your face
let your heartbeat dance with me across time and space...its okay

I have come back to this gem of poem, because it is just so sweet and gentle. Sometimes we need only know someone has our back when life tugs on our bleeding hearts.. Just breathe with me, it's okay. What a soothing and comforting line....I can imagine a woman safe in the embrace of her man...her head on his chest...holding on for dear life while he caresses her hair...his lips kissing her forehead as he whispers these words...willing her to believe he is her rock and her surety. A strong man...can be a tender man. Absolutely beautiful. Love rereading some of your writes, Justin. You have a poem to fit each mood.

I'm so glad you said that Richard, because that's what I feel between she and I. There are times when love goes from clear arithmetic to crazy algerbra but there is an anchor of passion, suspense and joy in our hearts that keeps us together.
