Love Can Be a Lot
So love can hurt
and make you hit the dirt
and love can also be good
just as it should
if you find the right person to love
like your own angel from above
like i did
but she hid
behind a boyfriend ungrateful
and sometimes hateful
but hes Out of her life and i see
that i no where i want her to be
right here in my loving arms
where i will try my best to let her have no harm
come to her or else I've failed
as a person no need to be mailed
a letter telling me that i don't deserve her
because i will do everything i can in my power to protect her without a slur
in my warning to those who try
to hurt her, but id rather die
then to see that beautiful face hurt
or to see her hit the dirt
so i want her to be mine
so i can protect her better and let her shine
let her be who she wants and not have to worry at all
about the things behind the wall
that i am, to shelter her from
all the pain that makes me numb
so i love you girl and you better know its
and for you ill take all the hits
