Love Borrowed

Love Borrowed

When you borrow love from someone else
And don’t have it within yourself
to give that love back

What you take
is far more than you give

Forgiveness starts with one’s self
For when you forgive
It means to put it on the shelf
And let it go

Only then will you know
It is better to forgive
To live and let live

It doesn't mean you have to forget
Just learn from it and grow
