Love Beyond Words
The one who smiles through silent pain,
Who feeds us first, though hunger reigns,
Who stays awake to guard our dreams,
And whispers hope when lost, it seems —
That’s a mother.
The one who bears the world’s disdain,
Yet laughs while masking every strain,
Who gives her warmth on freezing nights,
And holds us close through endless fights —
That’s a mother.
Her bangles broken, yet spirit strong,
Her clothes worn out, but heart a song,
Her weary hands caress our face,
And every tear, her love will chase —
That’s a mother.
A father fights the world outside,
But she, within, lets none divide.
She battles fate with every breath,
And shields her child from pain and death —
That’s a mother.
She molds her dreams into our own,
And sows her strength through seeds she’s grown.
Her sacrifices hide unseen,
Yet in her heart, love stays serene —
That’s a mother.
