Love beyond boundaries, marriage beyond reach

A road of love we dared to tread,
Like rivers flowing side by side, yet apart.
My heart burns true, a steady flame within,
But destiny denies the path we dream to chart.

Like stars aligned in the cosmic weave,
I love with a heart both honest and wide.
Entwined with fate, our canvas gleamed with bliss,
Yet destiny whispers, we cannot abide.

In hush and rush the journey unfolds,
Gentle and harsh, like the waves of the sea.
Love’s fire flickers with honour and beauty,
A tapestry woven of sorrow and glee.

Like morning mist that shines, then fades,
The sun’s warm kiss lingers—then is gone.
I could not walk with you to life’s last grave,
Nor lift my foot to the aisle we longed upon.
