Love At Last

I thought I knew it all
Love can be bestowed upon us all
But the same thing can make us fall

Love can destroy morals
Pull you outside of your safe point
And when turned down by this Love
It can ache your every joint

Is it true that love is something we can no handle?
I think it is something only the wise can understand
But it can strike when least planned
And it will never come when you demand

To most it just will tear you apart
Pierce your heart and soul like a dart

This feeling makes me alert
When I feel it I am scared I will soon be hurt

Love rarely can bring you good
And I'd rather not be hurt many times
Just to find, "The One"
Directly to you Love, I am DONE
