Love at First Sight


                                                     Two souls collided in a public park,
                                       Outright a light from their heart sprang and sparked,
                                               Where serene solemn silence held its sway,
                                               Surely seeming to show their destined way.

                                            A flash from their eyes marked the turning tide,
                                           Sealed by shining smiles they could hardly hide 
                                                  The birth of love at the very first sight,
                                             That banished every chill, roused their delight.

                                                Their voices blended in a sweet soft sound
                                          On common ground where solace could be found,
                                                “Heaven has made us collide,” said the man,
                                            “Can we henceforth be more than sincere friends?” 

                                                    “I don`t understand,” she said, being shy,
                                                      Within herself wishing to reach the sky,
                                                        Willing to abide by the heaven`s will
                                                         And erect a home on a kindred hill.

                                                   “I have lost my heart while we did collide,
                                                Can we cruise our life`s journey side by side?”
                                                           He stated, to be rather explicit 
                                                    And not to cross the bounds of his limit.

                                                       “Let us first better discern each other
                                                           Before picturing to live together,”
                                                 She replied with a glow deep from her eyes
                                                     As she gazed in prayers at the azure sky. 

                                              In no time their heart`s spark bloomed in true love
                                                          With the mercy of the heaven above,
                                                  This bond unseen, yet strong beyond all doubt,
                                                   Allowed two souls become one without shout.

                                               They shared their joys during the spring sunshine,
                                                      Cared for each other during winter time,
                                                       A beacon of hope jointly shining bright,
                                                           Illuminating the darkest of nights.

                                                    No earthly chains could  hold this bond apart,
                                                       Two breathing hearts, a single piece of art.
                                                    One breath they exhaled, though separate, still
                                                           Blended in the air in a common will.

                                                   Through storms of life, their spirits intertwined,
                                                    A comfort found, a peace for heart and mind,
                                                       A haven safe where sorrows gently ceased
                                                    And in that bond, they found enduring peace.

                                                        It was a love, with spirits pure and true,
                                                     For in that love, their souls were born anew
                                                 And their two souls merged to become one whole
                                                       That beyond the mundane earth did unfold.
