Love and Loss

Once upon a time I saw you there
Across the room, I couldn’t help but stare
Something new was being born
A feeling, I didn’t know I soon would mourn

The perfect future flashed before my eyes
Not like the one to come, with tears and lonely cries
We did not know what the future would bring
And yet you gave me the most beautiful ring
I didn’t plan on loosing you so soon
My greatest love, now becoming my very doom

You gave your life for me to live
And now – alone – I stand upon this cliff
that tragic moment stuck in my head like a guitar riff

It s yet another heartfelt poem of yours, I feel the pain in your words as you have written it so beautifully, wheether it s true or fiction but that guy must have loved you so much in order to sacrifice his life for you, he died so that you can live and when he did it he want you to spend a happy life, not a life of loneliness and sadness good luck
