Love alone is real
Let love steer every emote,
letting not our ego gloat,
when the weak suffer defeat,
lying helpless at our feet.
Life will continue to test,
so let’s do our very best,
by shifting from head to heart,
deeming all one, none apart.
What the truth is, now recall;
God’s sublime light, glows in all,
albeit veiled by ego,
which in time, we must let go.
We rise, fall, then rise again,
touch of love, healing heart’s pain
and so let us be as such,
mindfully gentling our touch.
