Love

Love A four letter word Something I feel For My dearest Danielle And MaySea in the whole why way What is the why way? I wonder Why is the world this way? Happiness I currently feel for My love's, sleeping so Peacefully My daughter Avril Her brother Paxton My beloved son Whom I miss with all my heart As I watch their baby sister fast asleep She is an angel Not forgotten by More so unknown to Her big brother and sister Whom She's yet to meet Not by choice. Unfortunately byproducts of choices made for them. Fear Resides within my hope Lurking Hidden behind Evident in my eyes And Vividly present while dreaming Biologically speaking Now nightmares are Felt as a nightmare is now a day out with my own mother and my very own brother. I couldn't have ever imagined such pain But love remains And gratitude genuinely appreciates every aspect of this love Watching Danielle and MaySea sleep A beautiful blessing My angels My all My everything My Miracles Love A four letter word 2/3/17

Very beautiful. So many dynamics to life, aren't there? It's a struggle sometimes to find the balance between where pain should be and love should be, but I think that's why we write poetry (rhyme unintended there but I'll take credit for it all the same). Great poem, touched on a lot, and touched my heart. Well done

Thank you Probir! I can't wait for Danielle to read this, she's asleep now I gave her a kiss and told her she is beautiful. It feels good being loving and to be loved. As I age and develop I am growing to truly appreciate love much much more everyday. I am getting sleepy, I'm attempting to make a djembe stand out of bamboo.
