Love
We all go from lonely hearts
to the alter of love
in this journey-
life’s journey-
The lover and the dreamer-
they arrived on this
path which is common
to all people-
which is shared
by each and every person-
Love makes the earth
a bed of tenderness-
flowering in honey-
The fullness of its
soul and its clarity
handed out
to all by the
loving spoonful-
The earth
glows
from the
bright origins
of the heart-
surging in colorful flags-
O-love-sweetness-
glowing endlessly-
fragrant air and flowers-
we rest deep inside you-
In you we make life-
and we play within you-
Love
you build up or tear down
the bed of dreams-
Love-
you show
us the way-not only
to the tenderness of life
but to the alter of dreams-
love-you
slip into life with us and
with your fragrat sweetness-
you show us the gateway
to each others souls-California Blue
