Love

I wonder why people praise love 
Love is a dangerous game to play with someone
Love is when you let someone lie to you, hurt you, abuse you physically or mentally
You forgive them even when your mind is telling you not too
You get so use to being around that person, listening to their voice, you crave their presence
You are addicted to them
You let yourself get hurt over and over again just so you don't have to be alone
You love him
You love him 
He says he loves you, You smile, get happy but in the back of your mind you know he is lying to you
You don't care 
You let him constantly hurt you, but you tell yourself it's okay because you love him 
You cry yourself asleep at night but it's okay because you love him
You rarely sleep at night because you wait for him to text you back
You rarely eat anymore but its okay 
You start to hate yourself but it's okay because you tell yourself he loves you and will change 
When he finally leaves you, you spend countless hours crying, blaming yourself, but really you didn't do anything wrong 
You find yourself looking for him in every guy you meet
Until you wake up one morning, go about your day
You realize you didn't think about him once, it saddens your heart because of all the love you once felt for this boy is finally gone
You are proud of yourself, you never thought you would be able to feel happy by yourself again 
You did it
You finally did it
