Love

Love

Love
Whose gentle contemplation
Has sustained in me
A still sanctuary
A harbour of peace
Wherein to anchor my spirit

A love
Forged
By the heat of my wounds
The tears of my delusions
And the blindness
Of my innocence, has
Within it's tender embrace
Cradled my spirit
And imbued me with
Infinite grace.
