Love
Love: As i lay on the blanket of soft down listning to the music playing quietly in the background while i watch him lite the logs on the fire to warm the place as the lights and warmth have left the night from the war!! He curls up beside me and holds me in his arms,we say nothing not a word as to not break the silence but our eyelashes touch one another in the still of the night and our hearts beat like a quiet drum only loud enough for our souls to hear as one and our eyes connect and touch each ones soul silently in the night speaking to one another but not a word to hear as the flames grow warmer in the dead silence of the night, then shots ring through the air all around, we hold each other tighter and tell our souls silently through our eyes, we will make it through anything just keep silent not even whispering in the wind as the shots shattered the window and now tiss colder as only one flame flickers in the dead silence once again as the wind whispered the fire to die down but our souls love one another and hold each other tighter till the shots in the dead of night are no more but our bodies lay in sweat from our souls fearing nothing but holding each other tight with love!!
